Official Highlights Non-Muslims’ Role in Islamic Revolution Achievements

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An Iranian official underlined that non-Muslims have had a share in the Islamic Revolution’s accomplishments.

 

Addressing a conference titled “Religions’ Spiritual Solidarity for Glory of Iran”, Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman said followers of all divine religions in the Islamic Republic of Iran have played a role in the accomplishments of the Islamic Revolution.

The conference was held at ICRO’s headquarters in Tehran on Monday.

Ebrahimi Torkaman noted that non-Muslim Iranians have also made sacrifices for the country and for the Establishment.

He further underlined the Islamic Republic’s achievements over the past four decades and the need for protecting them in the face of enemy plots.

Representatives of different faiths, including Christians and Zoroastrians, attended the one-day conference, held a few weeks before the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.
